Kristian Stinson: Data is making Studio EM more profitable

Co-founder and managing director of Studio EM, Kristian Stinson, says his data-driven strategy is making the design practice more profitable despite working on fewer projects.

 The entrepreneurial Stinson — who is leaving Studio EM to focus on contact lens subscription service Hopi — is using data and analytics to boost profitability and productivity at boutique design firm Studio EM.

 Stinson's interview forms one segment of a four-part Commercial Interior Design video interview series in conversation with senior architects and interior designers.
