UAE developer to open healthcare city in Morocco

Tasweek Real Estate Development and Marketing, a UAE-based real estate firm, is working on two major projects in Morocco, with construction commencing in the next year.

“We already have the approvals to do a healthcare city,” confirmed Masood Al Awar, CEO, Tasweek.

“The components are there with residential, hospitality and a hospital. It will be in Marrakech,” he added.

The $40m Marrakech Health Care City will be up to 21,000m2 in size, including a 160-bed private hospital, a 40-room boutique hotel and 56 residential apartments.

Al Awar said the project will take around two years to be complete. Tasweek is also developing a $20m golf residential complex which will have 96 apartments on a 35,000m2 plot of land.
