Swiss Bureau designs 12 high-end penthouses in Al Habtoor City in Dubai
Dubai-based Swiss Bureau Interior Design has unveiled its latest design project for 12 bespoke penthouses in Al Habtoor City, Dubai.
Overlooking the Dubai Water Canal, the Residence Collection, Al Habtoor City consists of three luxury high rise residential towers, boasting over 1,400 apartments and penthouses.
Alongside three five-star hotels, all the penthouses have floor-to-ceiling windows and large private balconies overlooking Dubai’s skyline and the Arabian Gulf.
“The intention is to sell these penthouses fully-fitted out – with all furniture and décor included – which is an unusual scenario, but one that can add value if done well,” said Zoe Allen at Swiss Bureau.
“The aim is to create a cosy, and bespoke interior, unlike that of a hotel. We want to ensure they are the best penthouses in the world.”
According to Allen, the VIP penthouse “takes luxury to a whole new level” with a leisure deck offering 360 degree views, lap pools, a personal gym and spa and seven stylish bedrooms.
The colour palette consists of a soft, warm honey coloured oak timber, with wood grain marble on the floors. For the wall cladding in key locations the designers used white veined or Armani grey marble.
Allen added: “The overall look and feel is modern, accented with a custom dark bronze metal used in detailing such as the skirting, doorways, arched ceiling coves and decorative screens.”
Designed by Swiss Bureau, the Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai was a highly commended project at last year’s CID Awards in the Public Sector category.
