RAK Ceramics has won the “Asia’s Best Brand Award” and “Best Employer Brand Award 2011” during the second CMO Asia Awards held in Singapore.
Organised by the USA-based CMO Council, the CMO Asia Awards recognises excellence in branding and marketing in the Asian region.
“These prestigious awards validate the success of RAK Ceramics in cultivating a culture of excellence and quality in all our marketing and branding initiatives,” said Abdulla Mahmood, head – MARCOM, RAK Ceramics.
“The recognition from CMO Asia Awards will surely enhance the reputation of RAK Ceramics as one of the most successful brands in the region and provide a major boost to our ongoing efforts to strengthen our presence across international markets,” he added.
Mahmood added he was confident the awards will help create global awareness about the business landscape in the UAE, particularly in Ras Al Khaimah.
With these awards, RAK Ceramics joins other brands recognised by the CMO Awards such as Nestle, Coca Cola, P&G, HSBC, Yahoo and HP among others.
“Close on the heels of being conferred the SuperBrand title for the third year in a row and retaining the No. 1 position as the world’s largest ceramic tiles manufacturer for second consecutive year by World Ceramic Review, the latest award is a testimony of RAK Ceramics’ strong global brand presence,” added Mahmood.
