Maximising views across Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah and out into the waters of the Arabian Gulf are a major feature of the Serenia Residences, designed by architect Hazel Wong.

Large ceiling to floor glass is a major feature within the living rooms, with retractable sliding doors bringing the outdoors into the home.

The furniture, lighting and art were sourced from Caspaiou who select their furniture pieces from many parts of Europe with the majority made in Italy.

Kareem Derbas, CEO and founder of Palma Holding, said: “The key to true indoor-outdoor living is creating flow between the indoors and outdoors.  Comfortable, luxurious outdoor furniture offers a perfect spot to relax and take in the sea breeze.

“Thanks to the retractable glass windows and the surrounding translucent glass balcony which wrap around the whole apartment, the view of the water from the sofa or bed is never obstructed.

“Serenia has also installed floor to ceiling push out panels in all rooms, used for the first time in the region but we’ve made sure that curtains can be tucked away in a ceiling pocket for privacy when needed.”
