Nature-focused Al Barari completes phase one villas

Al Barari, a low-density development in Dubai that embraces nature, has announced the completion of its 189 phase one villas.

Around 80 per cent of Al Barari’s land is dedicated to open green space, making it the region’s lowest density development.

Mohammed Zaal, CEO of Al Barari, added: “Approximately 90 percent of our villas are occupied by the actual owners which underlines the strategy and approach we set out to achieve from the start.”

The project is located next to the royal wildlife reserve in Nad Al Sheba and contains 14 kilometres of naturally filtered lakes, freshwater streams, cascades and waterways and six botanical themed gardens.

The second phase will also feature a ‘six star’ boutique hotel, public botanical gardens, apartments and a spa.

Components that are due for delivery in 2011 include a restaurant using locally-sourced organic and natural ingredients and Greenworks, the region’s largest privately-owned plant nursery with 1,800 plant varieties.
