Czech Republic based designer and manufacturer of bespoke light fixtures and glass art installations, Lasvit, has announced its participation in the INDEX International Design Exhibition 2011 this year.
Lasvit will reveal its Mysterious Forest at the event, which will introduce its creations in a creative display of visual design.
Mysterious Forest features shiny barrisol pillars symbolising trees that dangle Lasvit’s lighting sculptures. The steel structures of Mysterious Forest provide support the light sculptures on display. Lasvit will also make a regional introduction of its Twill, Crystal Wall, Icefalls, and Leaf designs.
“We are very excited about our partnership with INDEX this year. The Mysterious Forest is an exceptionally beautiful lighting concept, and by showcasing Lasvit’s lighting creativity at the region’s premier design exhibition we are reaching and connecting with a captive audience of design professionals,” said Filip Simek, area manager, Lasvit.
“By inviting Lasvit to be part of the show this year with their inspiring Mysterious Forest feature, we are linking up with a well-known and inspiring lighting design manufacturer, and offering up unparallelled innovation and inspiration not seen before in the Middle East,” said Naomi Barton, project manager, INDEX Lighting.
Lasvit’s glass and lighting pieces are on display throughout the world, including the W Hotel Hong Kong, Tripoli International Congress Centre, the Dubai Metro, and Atmosphere Restaurant, to name just a few.
INDEX 2011 will bring together more than 800 exhibitors from 49 countries as well as 25,000 trade professionals from over 100 countries.
This year’s event takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in UAE from October 22 – 25, 2011.
