Taking place from 18-20 September at Dubai World Trade Centre, the inaugural edition of GulfHost will bring together international industry suppliers to enable regional buyers to source the latest products, and services.
Trends currently driving innovation in food and beverage (F&B) globally will be showcased during the event, including smart kitchens, energy-efficient systems, multi-functional equipment, long-lasting tableware, and smartphone technology.
A focus on the interior design of dining spaces as a means of attracting customers is now of particular importance, according to the tradeshow’s organiser.
Dining solutions from RAK Porcelain and Venus Hotelware will be showcased, as will dining room furniture, amenities, tableware, and front-of-house décor from Al Zaher General Facilities Supply.
“I am involved in both back- and front-of-house design operations, so any solutions that help chefs to work faster, or that maximise space, will definitely be on my radar,” says Anastacia Shmidt, senior interior designer at Restaurant Secrets.
As the open kitchen concept remains popular, brands such as Heko will present their offerings in this area, and with operators now looking to get more output from smaller spaces, Williams Refrigeration will display its Small Kitchens range.
GulfHost is being hosted as part of Dubai International Hospitality Week, endorsed by Dubai Tourism. This dedicated platform will consolidate six key tradeshows GulfHost, The Hotel Show, The Leisure Show, Speciality Food Festival, SEAFEX Middle East, and yummex ME, which cater to hotel and F&B sectors.
