Damac and Trump build new golf course in Dubai

Damac Properties and the Trump Organisation have collaborated to build a new 18-hole, par 71 golf course off Sheikh Zayed Road.

The golf course will be located within the new 28 million sq ft Akoya development by Damac . This will be the Trump Organisation’s first golf course in Asia and joins a portfolio of 14 courses owned by the company.

Construction has already begun on the 7,205 yard golf course and is scheduled for completion next year.

Other plans for the golf club include a 30,000 sq ft club house and three high-end restaurants.

Hussein Sajwani, Chairman of DAMAC Properties said: “By collaborating with Donald Trump, we are bringing the most elite name in golf and international luxury real estate to Dubai. This course will provide a unique challenge for golfers, while delivering the upmost luxury and refinement for which both DAMAC Properties and The Trump Organization have become renowned for.”
