Chinese metallurgy giant Hansteel Group has unveiled plans for a new eco headquarters building, which incorporates French-style formal gardens.
Designed by Vector, the 170m high tower in Handan responds to Hansteel’s existing factory which adjoins the site.
The complex contains a formal ‘Royal French Garden’ with a lake connected to the city’s canal system and a forest of trees.
As well as offices, the building features a cafeteria, meeting centre, sport centre, Hansteel Group TV Station, and a five-star hotel with 300 rooms.
The design emphasises energy savings through passive cooling systems.
