What not to miss at INDEX and workspace 2015
With 25 years of experience behind it, INDEX International Design Exhibition prepares for its quarterly anniversary, while workspace prepares for its 14th annual edition.
The INDEX Internatinoal Design Exhibition is the largest event in the region for the local architect and design industries, as it attracts more than 800 exhibitors from a whopping 41 countries.
As usual, the exhibition will take place at Dubai’s World Trade Centre from 18-21 May 2015. Those in attendance will benefit from the business and networking opportunities as buyers, sellers, designers and simple design admirers.
While INDEX celebrates its 25th anniversary, it plans to have over 800 exhibitors from across the world, 26 national pavilions and over 25,000 visitors during the four-day event run.
This year, we’ll see not only more exhibitors than last year’s INDEX, but new country pavilions from Saudi Arabia and the French Luxury Pavilion, as well as increased participation from existing pavilions like Brazil, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Czech Republic and Turkey, among others.
In celebration of the exhibit’s remarkable success, organisers dmg events has launched the ‘Love Design’ brand to promote INDEX’s main priority – design. As part of the launch, INDEX is running a scratch card promotion for all visitors to the exhibition. Every visitor will receive a scratch card for the chance to win one of thousands of prizes including: furniture, iPads, bluetooth speakers and other Love Design branded items like sunshades and coffee mugs.
And while INDEX prepares for its big anniversary year, workspace at INDEX looks to its 14th edition. Formerly known as The Office Exhibition, workspace at INDEX is the largest commercial interiors fit-out and design exhibition in the Middle East. Adjacent to the INDEX International Design Exhibition, workspace is one of the top exhibits for high-end products and services for working environments.
The organisers are expecting over 140 exhibitors to participate this year at workspace originating from 21 countries, as well as 10,000 visitors.
“The 14th annual edition of workspace at INDEX…will include a wider range of products and services to reflect the ever expanding market and different working environments across the general office, commercial, healthcare, and educational design, fit out and upgrade sectors,” says a report released by dmg events.
With more than 1,000 exhibitors planning to participate in this year’s INDEX and workspace events, we understand that visiting the show can be a handful; hence, CID has put together a number of show events and exhibitors that are not to be missed!
