GOLD SPONSOR: ZIP WATER
In 1970, Zip Industries, a privately owned Australian business, installed the world’s first boiling water faucet that provided instant boiling water from an under-sink pressurised cylinder.
Headquartered in Sydney and with distributors worldwide, Zip last year set up its operations in the Middle East.
Zip Water returns for the second year as a Gold sponsor of the CID Awards, presenting the Interior Design of the Year: Retail category.
“The CID Awards is one of the first events Zip Water was involved with in the Middle East and, as a result, it holds a special place in our hearts,” says Gizem Imer, regional sales manager Middle East. adding: “Regarded as such a prestigious event, it is the ultimate platform from which to showcase what we have to offer to key players in the design industry. Primarily, though, it is our way of demonstrating support and appreciation of the design industry in the UAE.”
Having set up its Middle Eastern outfit in Dubai, Zip Water plans to continue its efforts to deliver outstanding customer care and premium products to the region in the form of the Zip HydroTap.
“A must for every modern kitchen, and a phenomenal piece of kit, the HydroTap not only provides style and convenience but in the current climate of increased consumer demand for sustainable products it delivers from that perspective too,” explains Imer, adding that the company’s expansion plan begins with a big move to a new location in Media City.
She adds: “We feel this is well timed as we begin to grow the team internally at Zip. In particular, we are developing our dedicated service team to help to maintain our service levels in the region as we grow. September will see our official debut in the region now that we have established our presence with a dedicated Zip office in the Middle East. This debut will take the form of a launch event, giving delegates the opportunity to experience what The Zip Effect really is.”
