INDEX Kitchen and Bathroom will launch the K&B Essentials feature for interior designers, architects and project consultants dealing with kitchen and bathroom space.
Showers, sinks and general water use accounts for 40% of a resident’s water cost, and water wastage is now a global concern. K&B Essentials will bring together brands that combine innovation with working towards reducing the environmental impact, reducing the consumption of non-renewable resources and improving water management.
”The K&B industry is driven by the latest state of the art developments in space planning, design aesthetics, functionality and longevity and there are three core areas that generally need be considered when designing a kitchen or a bathroom for any small or large scale project: innovation & trends, sustainability and water conservation,” said Muhammed Kazi, INDEX Kitchen & Bathroom project manager.
The feature will bring together companies that work toward reducing the environmental impact of their products and will show how these brands reduce the consumption of non-renewable resources.
This will be part of the dedicated Kitchen & Bathroom show at INDEX Dubai and is designed for the requirements of kitchen and sanitary ware companies.
INDEX Kitchen & Bathroom will be showcasing the latest collections of kitchen appliances, sanitary fittings, kitchen design and equipment.
INDEX is taking place from October 22-25, 2011 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
