Curated by Suzanne Trocme, author and architecture and design editor of Wallpaper*magazine, the exhibition presents contemporary British design, in support of the UK-UAE Year of Creative Collaboration by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (DDFC) and the British Council.

For his UAE debut, Neill will be exhibiting two of his most recognised limited edition pieces, alongside designs from his self-produced contemporary furniture brand, Made in Ratio.

One of such pieces includes the Remix chaise lounge which is carved from reclaimed plastics and wood and created into a multi-coloured, smooth organic shape.

The sinuous E Turn bench will also be on show at this year’s Design Days Dubai, also marking the 10-year anniversary since its launch. The special celebratory edition of the piece will be presented in a mirror-polished stainless steel version.

It will also include the and the Pleat Bench, moulded from a single piece of Corian, which is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Niell has worked with brands including Swarovski, Alexander McQueen and Kundalini. His limited edition works are part of a number of private collections.

All of the designs on display are produced as one-off pieces or in a batch production and are shown for the first time in the UAE.
