This little upholstered cabinet was named after the North Pole monster “Cham” – a character in a Korean novel. Cham is made with felt, sponge, and spruce. Mixing furnishing with clothing is one of the goals of the designer, Kim Jaekyoung, with this piece. Opening and closing (locking) Cham offers users an unusual furniture experience. It can be fastened with straps or with inner magnets. The hinge side of the door features a zip that opens into a hidden storage area for flat items. Cham was given a soft appearance and touch.
