Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is now welcoming guests. Positioned on a private peninsula with golden sands and natural mangroves, the resort has 174 keys ranging from contemporary and spacious guest rooms and suites in the main building, to those set within traditional riads. Each option draws on locally inspired design elements.
The resort, designed by Wilson Associates and Perkins Eastman, introduces Maldivian-inspired stays to Ras Al Khaimah, featuring the emirate’s first overwater villas.
Villas include outdoor decks with private plunge pools, views of the Arabian Gulf and the natural mangrove lagoon, and exclusive access to a villa-only beach. A dedicated Villa Host service ensures personalised attention, including experiences like massages or private barbecues.
“We are proud to launch our luxury Anantara brand in Ras Al Khaimah, which is the brand’s ninth property in the United Arab Emirates,” says Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, the parent company of Anantara, and group CEO of Minor International.
“We are confident that the new resort will be well received by the market and will help with the continued growth and positioning of the emirate as a luxury tourist destination.”
The resort’s commitment to sustainability includes minimising plastic use, reducing waste and energy consumption, and utilising eco-friendly materials in construction.
“The opening of the Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort will greatly contribute to realising RAK Properties’ vision for Mina Al Arab, transforming it into the leading lifestyle destination within the emirate,” says Sameh Muhtadi, CEO of RAK Properties.
“This launch marks the second hospitality opening in our development, and we’re happy to offer visitors a unique, new luxury beachfront experience that also respects the natural and stunning beauty of its environment.”
