Germany's Deutsche Hospitality has opened the 153-room property in the Egyptian resort city of Ras el Bar.
Steigenberger Hotel El Lessan has 153 rooms and 15 suites, each with a view of the Nile and the ocean.
The facilities include a main restaurant, the Sea Lobby Bar, four conference rooms, two ballrooms, a gym and outdoor pool with a pool bar.
Commercial Interior Design's sister title, Hotelier Middle East, said there are plans to open a rooftop restaurant at the upscale hotel.
In a press statement, Deutsche Hospitality CEO, Thomas Willms, said it was the company's first luxury hotel in the region.
“We have achieved a further expansion of our local presence and have also been able to bring about a significant enhancement in the relevance of the Steigenberger brand,” he added.
