Czech Republic-based lighting design company Brokis wants to “enchant” visitors at Downtown Dubai, with a showcase of hand-made glass lights.

The high-end lighting company makes Bohemian glass in Europe that it uses to design functional and decorative lights for a range of industries.

The company now employs more than 100 people and has strong sales operations in 70 countries, including the Middle East.

At Downtown Dubai, the region’s largest dedicated high-quality design fair, Brokis will showcase the work created by the company’s art director, Lucie Koldova. Her latest lighting collection, Ivy, will be on display at the event that's held along the waterfront in Dubai Design District.

Among the other new items on display, visitors will be able to check out the Awa collection by Japanese designer Fumie Shibata.

The Geometric range, designed by Boris Klimek and Lenka Dámová, will also be exhibited alongside other statement pieces created in collaboration with world-renowned designers.
