Model and entrepreneur Cindy Crawford has returned to front Spanish architectural surfaces supplier Cosentino’s Silestone advertising campaign.
Cosentino, which has a showroom in Dubai Design District, has teamed up with the US supermodel for its ‘Tops on Top 2019’ campaign promoting quartz surfaces brand Silestone.
Crawford poses on a Silestone countertop in new colour Eternal Noir for it. This colour will be launched in the Middle East in 2020.
The ad campaign was unveiled at acclaimed restaurant Zela London in the West End, which is decorated with chic tables made from Cosentino’s black Silestone Eternal Marquina collection.
Cosentino’s deal with Crawford ties the supermodel down to an ambassadorial role with the architectural design supplier for 2019 and 2020. She will host promotional events for the Spanish brand all around the world in this capacity.
It is unclear if the supermodel will come to Dubai to promote Cosentino’s Silestone, a super-strong material used in kitchen and bathroom design, particularly in hotels, restaurants and hospitals.
Consisting of more than 90% natural quartz, the material is resistant to stains, knocks and scratches, making it suitable for the hospitality trade. It is also available in more than 90 different colours and for the environmentally-conscious consumer, Cosentino has its Eco Line, made with at least 50% recycled materials.
The materials are manufactured at its massive factory in Almeria, which is seeing significant investment in robots and automation with Cosentino bosses keen to boost manufacturing efficiency – the speed its products are made.
