Tronic throw by Kvadrat

Designed by Raf Simmons, it is one of my favourite items. I have a special connection with it as Kvadrat invited me to the official launch of the collection in London, and I had a chance to chat with Simmons about his designs and inspirations. The dip-dye technique and the ombre effect is a recurring theme in my work.

Exeter side table by District Eight

I can say it was love at first sight — nothing explains my design taste more than the side and coffee tables from the District Eight collection. The combination of concrete, brass and wood brings the materials together in a beautiful contrast in this architectural piece.

Cyrus armchair by District Eight

I like the clean lines, the minimal and functional design in combination with the contrasting materials in this seating furniture.

Mantis lamp by DCW edition

It’s my favourite design object that I own. Bernard Schottlander created the 1951 elegant mid-century style and clever system of counterweights, inspired by the artist, Alexander Calder, which has influenced my work.

D’oro rug by XO Atelier

I love our first finalised rug, inspired by clouds and reflections of the sun. The carpet is based on a watercolour painting, which has been translated into 36 colours and has been hand-knotted in Nepal.
