Skinny homes are gaining prominence worldwide for their ingenious approach towards maximising space. ReNa Design, founded by architect Reza Najafian, has designed the Qorveh house, located 90km from Kurdistan province in Iran.
The house is divided into two separate units – a duplex residential unit and a multi-purpose independent living and working suite.
The house is in a newly gentrified area where there is no predominant architectural typology for reference. Instead, the architects relied on traditional materials such as bricks and timber to produce a sculptural design form, which is particularly highlighted due to its narrow site.
