The building is located in the capital’s Rhike Park and comprises of two sculptural tubes that open up on to the adjacent green space. The two structures are connected via a shared retaining wall, one housing a music theatre while the other is an exhibition hall.

The music theatre holds a 566-seat auditorium as well as a café, storage areas and technical facilities.

The funnelled form of the structure acts as a “periscope to the city”, framing view of the river and the historic town.

The project is located close to Fuksas’ other project in Tbilisi – a public service hall topped with 11 sculptural petals that rise up to 35m, which the studio completed in 2012.
