After doors opened to the ultra-luxury hotel in January, Atlantic the Royal has shared a glimpse inside the sky bridge penthouse. The Royal Mansion is located on the eighteenth and nineteenth floors, covering 1,128 sq m. The split-level, four-bedroom offering boasts a private elevator, a private basement entrance, and a majestic private foyer.
Double-height ceilings, floor-to-ceiling marble and breathtaking skyline views are just some of the design highlights. The two master bedrooms are equipped with his-and-hers bathrooms with a steam room, including a freestanding bath with a view. The third and fourth bedrooms also have ensuites of their own. Stocked with exclusive Hermès bathroom amenities, they also include a custom-made gold toothbrush, comb, razer, loofa sponge and bath brush and opulent Italian bathrobes by Frette, crafted from 100% cotton.
There’s no shortage of natural light with seven-metre floor-to-ceiling windows found throughout the penthouse and plenty of space to relax. There’s an entertainment room is complete with a 98’’ LED TV screen, along with a library and a bar area with 24-hour bartender service. That’s on top of the 24-hour butler service that includes unpacking luggage, pillow selection, clothes pressing, resort orientation and setting up exclusive experiences.
In the bedrooms, guests can enjoy 800 thread count bed linen made with combined cotton with a sateen finish, and sustainably designed bespoke mattresses by Hypnos. In-room luxury gym equipment by Technogym is also provided.
Embracing the outdoors, private terraces feature a glistening infinity pool, an outdoor kitchen and a fourteen-seat outdoor dining table. Ten-seater sunken majlis – a modern-day take on Arabic tradition – as well as 100-year old olive trees enhance the space.
Crystalware takes many shapes and forms in The Royal Mansion, with stand-outs like a limited edition marble and crystal backgammon game by the artisans of Baccarat, designed by Marcel Wanders. The crystal manufacturer Baccarat also designed a chess-set worth over US$16,000, hand-cut by French craftsman Meilleur Ouvrier de France. There’s also a custom-designed ping-pong table by Lous Vuitton, featuring professionally designed ping-pong paddles, regulation balls in a custom holder, and an exclusive cover crafted of masculine Monogram Eclipse canvas, accented with an LV Circle medal.
