To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Design Infinity announces complimentary US Green Building Council LEED Certification for clients.

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a rating system devised by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to evaluate the environmental performance of a building and encourage market transformation towards sustainable design.

The voluntary system is credit-based, allowing projects to earn points for environmentally beneficial strategies taken during the construction and use of a building.

There are multiple benefits of having a sustainable facility and this announcement will be significant in several sectors like hospitality, healthcare, new construction and interior fit-out.

Advantages of LEED

Other benchmark moments for Design Infinity in the last decade include announcing a two-year defect liability period for clients on its ninth anniversary and achieving SUPERBRAND status, which is internationally recognised as the ‘Oscar’s of branding’ in more than 90 countries across the world.

The invitation-only application process is assessed by the UAE Superbrands Council, part of global brand arbiter Superbrands.

Measuring market share, public relations, longevity, customer loyalty and brand visibility, the Superbrands programme works with more than 35,000 brands globally.

The now 600-strong company was founded in 2012 and has a head office in Dubai, a branch in Abu Dhabi, and a joinery, metal, and glass factory in Dubai Investment Park.

Geetha Nayak, the Managing Partner of Design Infinity, said: “There are several advantages of LEED Certification such as lowering energy and water consumption, prioritising building efficiency, decrease in operational costs, increased asset value and ensuring productivity, comfort, health and well-being for occupants.”
