UAE and Greece sign MoU on culture and the creative sector

The UAE and Greece have agreed to promote ties in the creative industry.

Senior figures from both country's government signed a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth and Lina G Mendoni, Minister of Culture and Sports of Greece, 'met' on the sidelines of remote UAE-Greece Strategic Cooperation Forum.

The MoU aims to promote the exchange of best practices related to the creative economy and encourage artists, cultural professionals, innovators, museums and institutions to share knowledge.

Business partnerships and co-operation between the two countries will also be encouraged in the fields of architecture, performance arts, fine arts, digital cinema, animation and other mediums.

Eventually, exchange visits by artists and other creative professionals could also take place.
