A huge online B2B textiles show with its roots in India has been announced.

Furnishing, floor coverings and textiles will go on sale at IHGF Textiles Virtual Fair 2020.

The event, which organisers say is the first of its kind, takes place from June 15th to 18th.

Available for import to interior designers and other industry professionals will be those all-important textiles touches that would usually only be found by hopping on a flight - resplendent weaves, earthy notes with block printing, ajrakh printing, traditional dye chippa work and other hand crafting techniques, as well as contemporary offerings.

Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) India represents 11,000 Indian handicraft manufacturers and exporters and also organises the huge IHGF Delhi Fair.

They say: "We are all part of ‘the new normal’ now. Our resilience as part of the global buying and selling trade continues to stand the test of time as we reform and adopt new ways to connect our sellers with buyers and trade visitors, helping each to save costs and recover from loss of business due to the pandemic."
