Bespoke furniture brand Custom No.9 has launched an online design service.
Customers will be able to build their own 3D digital product, which Custom No.9 will then bring to life for them.
Budding furniture curators can choose from 200 variations of size, top material, steel leg design and colour options to build a 3D piece of furniture from the Dubai-based firm's ‘The Meraki Collection.’
Materials available include signature Terrazzo, Aerestone or Bianco Volakas white marble, Nero Marquina black marble and oak veneer and you can discover how and where materials are sourced from too.
All-important leg options include steel leg finished in either black, white or gold matte. Leg frames available for dining tables, consoles, coffee tables, desks and side tables have a rockstar riff, named Stevie, Marley and Floyd after talented artists who are equally as creative in their own right.
Manufacturing time for a 3D mock-up takes from three to five weeks, with all furniture pieces produced in Dubai.
Prefer off-the-peg? The site also has the brand's range of ready-to-wear furniture, home décor and planters in new season colourways.
No.9 founder Amy Grace Mill outlines the motivation behind the brand's move to digital.
She says: “I wanted to build an interactive digital experience that puts the customer at the helm of design. It’s all about empowerment and creativity, and with our expertly engineered table frames and top materials, this is exactly what we are offering. We’ve even made sure that our home décor products are available in multiple colours to suit tastes.”
