A new retreat is opening on the roof of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and doesn't it look amazing?

From May 2020, the sea side hotel's eleventh floor will be transformed into Suite Eleven.

The 195 square metre double suite has two bedrooms, including a master bedroom with sea view, and a 21 sqm terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.

Designer Olivier Antoine took inspiration from natural materials and the sea and uses the resort’s signature colours, blue set off with hints of beige.

He says: “Suite Eleven’s design is inspired by my love of the Mediterranean Sea, using timeless and natural materials. The Suite Eleven is decorated in wood paneling in raw eucalyptus or lagoon blue, and floors in natural stone such as agate. The bathroom is in marble and proposes a steam-shower room with mosaic decoration."

FYI, stone and wood used in the project are sourced from renowned suppliers. For example, the floors and walls of the steam/shower cabin are decorated with mosaics from Bisazza, a specialist Italian brand.

Check in to Suite Eleven and you'll be able to enjoy VIP services, including star-gazing or a private reception with a chef.

We can't wait to book up!
