Thousands sign up for digital conference on COVID-19

The online discussion for the hospitality sector will take place on April 7th

More than 3,000 people have registered for a virtual hospitality summit.

Bench Events will host the live conference on April 7th from 10am to 4pm and is free to take part in, however, any donations will go to those in the hospitality industry suffering due to the spread of COVID-19.
Over 3,000 hospitality industry professionals have already registered and over 5,000 are expected to attend.

Speakers giving their time for free include Dr Paul G. Stoltz, founder and CEO of Peak Learning and author of Adversity Quotient, discussing how the industry survives and Roger Bootle, chairman, Capital Economics, assessing the economic impact of COVID-19.

A team from HAMA Global, representing over a million hotel rooms, will share their experiences of the crisis from an asset management perspective.

There will also be breakout sessions covering prospects for adventure travel, crisis management tips from around the world and hospitality’s role in community resilience.

Video conferencing technology will be used to bring virtual main-stage panel sessions to an audience of up to 100,000 online participants. There will be roundtables, debates and Q&As throughout the event.

There'll also be speed networking and exhibition booths.
