Sharjah Business Women Council is encouraging connection with the launch of an online service to support its 2,000 members.

Female-led business across the emirates can seek peer-to-peer support in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launched last week, #SBWCVirtualTours, offers business counselling and helps firms adapt to new strategies. The online events are an extension of #SBWCTours, which began on on November 19th 2019 to mark Women's Entrepreneurship Day.

Different business sectors will be represented and the programme kicked off with a session by Amna Al Mulla, founder of Wildflower Calligraphy.

Another #SBWCVirtualTours session hosted with Khawla Al Serkal, founder of The Boutique Spa.

SBWC chair Sheikha Hind bint Majid Al Qasimi, says: “Even as COVID-19 continues to disrupt lives across the globe, through #SBWCVirtualTours, SBWC has developed its remote working strategy to adapt to the changing tides of life and continue with its holistic approach of supporting female-owned and led businesses. This is in line with the directives and vision of our founder and patron, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah."
