Chris Barnes, the owner and founder of Broadway Interiors is one of the speakers at the upcoming Design Talks on February 5, taking place at Index Saudi.
Barnes will be reviewing his upcoming F&B projects in Saudi Arabia, with particular focus on the set of new Black Tap restaurants and outlets coming to the Kingdom.
Speaking exclusively to CID, Barnes said: “I am honoured to have been invited to talk at Index Saudi and have chosen to present how important interior design is in developing successful F&B brands. I’ll be sharing how we created some of the most popular brands in the region and am looking forward to supporting this important event in an emerging F&B market.”
Broadway has now delivered 11 venues across the Middle East and Europe for what is arguably the fastest-growing NYC street restaurant brand in the region. The latest Black Tap outlets include Dubai Festival City, a cinema outlet in KSA and a restaurant in Brussels, with a new flagship store in Dubai Mall currently under construction. Each venue has unique features, whilst following the Black Tap street brand.
As CID previously reported, Broadway Interiors opened an office in Riyadh and has been actively working on big projects in the Kingdom, including providing full design consultancy for a 3,500 sq m office space for an unnamed government initiative and a project for the Ministry of Justice.
Saudi Arabia is home to the Middle East’s largest construction market, making it the region’s largest interior design and fit-out buyer, with a the interior market value of $3.5bn.
Interior design and fit-out trade exhibition Index Saudi, will be taking place from February 3 to 5 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
The event caters to the demands of the ongoing construction projects along with mega projects including The Red Sea Development Project and the King Abdullah Economic City, among others, by bringing more than 200 leading international and local interiors and fit-out brands to Riyadh from across 20 countries.
