Following another record-breaking year for the Commercial Interior Design Awards, CID joined the Construction Week Viewpoint podcast to explain why Al Tayer Stocks and BW Interiors deserve the hype they're receiving.
Commercial Interior Design’s editor, Oscar Rousseau, joined Construction Week’s features writer, Ashley Williams, on a podcast to explain why Al Tayer Stocks and BW Interiors took home the top fit-out prizes.
Al Tayer Stocks lifted the coveted Fit-Out Firm of the Year prize for the first time in its 20-year history. It has enjoyed a stellar year, increasing turnover by approximately 10% and completing key projects, such as the Paul Bishop-designed Wavehouse.
Judges praised BW Interiors' fit-out of Greek restaurant Avli by Tashas in DIFC, claiming it should be used as a benchmark for all future fit-out projects in the region.
It was the second year in a row that BW Interiors walked away with the Fit-Out Project of the Year trophy.
The CID Awards 2019 took place at the Johara Ballroom in Madinat Jumeirah. More than 1,000 people attended the sell-out event that awarded 18 trophies for the top interior designers in the region.
