A sculptural foundation of the Akhal-Teke horse, a symbol of national pride in Turkmenistan, will be among the centrepieces of the Asian nation’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Turkmenistan’s country pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai aims to showcase the heritage and achievements of the country through a multi-sensory design concept.
The Central Asian nation’s pavilion will have a 50m LED façade promoting natural and historical attractions, such as ancient settlements and important archaeological sites.
A projection of five white Akhal-Teke horses will be beamed onto the walls of the pavilion, symbolising the continued motion of the country and reflecting the flow of the millions of people expected to visit the expo.
Visitors will be guided through the pavilion by an interactive hologram of the horses – a breed from Turkmenistan renowned for their shimmering coats, speed, and beauty.
By following the horse hologram, visitors will be given a tour of the country’s rich agricultural roots.
