A subsidiary of building heavyweight Arabtec Holding, Target Engineering, has won a contract from Ellington Properties to work on its twin-tower Wilton Park Residences project, designed by Anarchitect.

Wilton Park Residences is a mid-rise two-tower apartment block in Dubai’s Al Merkadh area that marks another Ellington-backed project that architecture and interior design company Anarchitect has helped to create.

The Dubai- and UK-based business is led by founder Jonathan Ashmore, who recently expressed his delighted on social media at the progress on Wilton Park Residences.

His comment came after Target Engineering picked up the $52m contract in May. Target Engineering’s scope of work includes construction, landscaping, irrigation, and a range of MEP services such and installation.

Workers will be on the site imminently and the project is due to be completed in two years.

Alongside Wilton Park Residences, Anarchitect has a body of work that spans commercial, cultural, residential, and leisure.

Some of the company’s completed projects include the magnificent Al Faya Lodge, a boutique desert retreat located at the foot of Mount Alvaah in Sharjah.
