Sobha Realty, set up as an interiors company in 1976, has launched a collection of 23 luxury villas along the Dubai Water Canal, some of which have private helicopter pads and yacht berths.
The Dubai-based real estate developer, which does all interior design in-house, has made details of the Water Canal Villas, located at its Sobha Hartland megaproject, which has a gross development value of $3bn, public.
Its collection of 23 waterfront villas will come in three plot sizes – and the largest ones will have space for a helicopter.
A double plot, the second-biggest size, will have a garage big enough to store up to eight supercars, with a villa or mansion boasting between eight and 12 bedrooms.
Each villa can be customised and fitted out with a personal gym, home cinema, or private passenger lift – and Sobha will manage the design for all of these interior elements.
Every villa will also have a double-height reception room with coffered ceiling and chandeliers.
Folding glass walls open out onto the outdoor wooden leisure deck, swimming pool, and garden areas.
The Water Canal Villa plots are unique to Dubai, they are the only villas available directly on the canal,” said Tirthankar Ganguly, chief marketing officer of Sobha Realty.
“Each canal-side villa will be built to customer’s bespoke specification, the ultimate trophy home where the owner can park their cars, yacht, and maybe even helicopter.
“This luxurious low-rise waterfront community is Dubai’s version of the waterfront villas and mansions on the UK’s Sandbanks waterfront estate in Poole Harbour,” he added.
