The first-ever Commercial Interior Design Awards: Saudi is tomorrow

The event will crown winners in 13 categories at voco Riyadh on Wednesday June 7

Commercial Interior Design’s first-ever Awards event in Saudi Arabia takes place tomorrow (Wednesday June 7).

The event will welcome more than 200 of the region and Saudi Arabia’s design and fit-out leaders at a glittering ceremony at voco Riyadh.

There are 13 categories as part of the Awards, with 11 based on nominations from interior design firms, fit-out companies and architects, and two Editor’s Choice Awards, chosen by the editorial team at CID.

There are still a small number of seats left for the ceremony, priced at SAR2,000 per seat. Anyone interested should contact eventsksa@commercialinteriordesign.com.

CID has partnered with Lutron Electronics, Lyre’s and Preciosa Lighting for the event, with Preciosa also crafting the winner trophies. You can read more about that here.

The judges presiding over the Awards

The judges for CID Awards 2023: Saudi bring a wealth of experience and recognition, both regionally and globally. They are Annamaria Lambri, Outreach Coordinator and Associate Professor of Interior Design, School of Architecture, Art & Design at the American University Dubai (AUD), Dima Alkawadri, Assistant Professor of Interior Design at the School of Textiles and Design at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, Enayat Ghaedi, accomplished architect and associate at RMJM, Juan Roldan, architect, professor at American University of Sharjah and design consultant in KSA and Paul Clifford, Group Editor, Hospitality & Design, ITP Media Group.
