Meet the sponsor: luxury design specialist Obegi Home

Obegi Home has signed on as a sponsor of the Commercial Interior Design Awards 2023: MENA

As a full-service interior design firm, Obegi Home specialises in luxury across residential and commercial interiors – it is also a supporter of the 17th annual Commercial Interior Design Awards: MENA.

The brand has a history in the region that dates back to 1905 when founder Yordan Obegi began a chemical dyestuff business catered to textile and leather industries in the MENA region. Today, Obegi Home is an independent venture that brings high-end interiors to life across the Middle East, from ground-up construction projects to smaller decorative installations

The brand is passionate about the evolution of the design industry across the region, signing on as a sponsor of September’s CID Awards 2023: MENA to help foster growth and progression.

“We’re looking forward to connecting with the community of architects and designers which we would like to collaborate with and support,” says Luc Escoute, General Manager at Obegi Home.

In the past twelve months, the firm has worked on a number of luxe projects including the Dorchester Collection, Five Luxe Hotel JBR and Saadiyat Villas. Looking to the future, Obegi Home is already working on more large-scale projects, including their own mono-brand showroom for Poliform in Dubai.

As a company, Obegi Home is also embracing more sustainable and innovative solutions in design.

“We are thrilled about the design and architectural industry’s ongoing evolution in 2023/2024, particularly the exciting advancements in sustainable and eco-friendly materials, innovative technologies, and the growing emphasis on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that enhance overall well-being and user experience,” Escoute says.
