Commercial Interior Design’s Power Panels returned for the second edition of 2023 with an event themed around sustainability.
Held at Hilton Palm Jumeirah on the evening of May 16, 2023, more than 60 industry faces were in attendance at the event, which was organised in association with Dyson.
The evening started at 4pm with a networking reception, with beers, wines and food served by the team at Hilton. There were then two panel discussions, followed by more networking and a prize draw that saw one of the delegates win a Dyson product of their choice.

How sustainable product innovations can save energy and money
The first discussion delved into the ways sustainable product innovations can lead to energy and financial savings.
The panellists were Kristian Stinson, managing director, Finch, Nora Massouh, sustainability lead & architect, MZ Architects and Swati Rokade, associate, Godwin Austen Johnson (GAJ).

In the second discussion, the panel focused on the benefits of creating a clean and sustainable workplace.
Joining the discussion were Rachel Sheppard, assistant project manager at Dewan Architects + Engineers, Sophia Kee, head of future-ready at WSP Middle East and Marise Guirguis, interior designer and WELL AP at Gensler.
