The former UK Prime Minister David Cameron will be speaking in Dubai this summer to lecture about leadership. The ex-Conservative Party leader is the headline speaker for the Arabian Business Leadership Summit taking place on Wednesday, June 21.
Cameron will join successful business and political leaders to discuss the challenges and experiences faced by modern-day global leaders. Following the speech, Cameron will host a private lunch for a select band of guests.
Cameron told Arabian Business: “I am delighted to be joining this year’s Arabian Business Leadership Summit in Dubai. Having served as Prime Minister of the UK for six years, and Leader of the Conservative Party – the oldest and most successful political party in the world – for over a decade, I understand well the incredible opportunities and challenges all leaders face.”
He added: “Indeed, the great uncertainty in the world at present means that risk and security – whether political, financial, national, corporate – loom large in the minds of those responsible for corporate governance and executive management. I very much look forward to sharing my own thoughts and experiences with business leaders from across the region in June, and to returning to the UAE – a country I have spent considerable time in before, including teaching at NYU Abu Dhabi earlier this year, and somewhere I always enjoy visiting.”
