Avli by Tashas is a rustic Greek restaurant in Dubai International Financial Centre and BW Interiors won the Fit-Out Project of the Year trophy for the second successive year at the awards ceremony, which was held on 11 September at the Johara Ballroom.
Michael Melnick, managing director of BW Interiors, said: “This is absolutely amazing. It is the culmination of a lot of hard work, dedication and a testament to our staff. I am over the moon by this.
“The client is very specific and very demanding. Their standards are maybe beyond what’s expected in the region and that might be what has pushed us to the limits of what you see nowadays, so the client is equally testament to the award we have won.”
It was a clear winner in the category, with one judge saying the fit-out project should be used as a point of reference for future projects in the Middle East.
