Digital design store Adorno will host curated country collections of collectible design during the London Design Festival.
The Copenhagen-based website is stepping into a gap left by the London Design Biennale and the London Design Fair, which typically host commercial and cultural country pavilions respectively.
Working with its roster of 26 international curators, Adorno says it's going to be "the place to discover curated country collections of collectible design."
Under the theme of 'The New Reality,' a total of 14 country pavilions will be presented virtually during the seven-day event, with two launched every day.
Five to 10 from each designer in the collection will be modelled three-dimensionally and set in a virtual environment that visitors can be guided through with a narration from each country's curator.
Countries confirmed as taking part include Iceland, Sweden, The Netherlands and, of course, Denmark.
London Design Festival takes place from 12th-20th of September.
A recently-announced programme for its 18th edition confirm the festival will return to the city as "a symbol of London's determination to maintain its creative and cultural leadership."
