Five interior design pros have been selected to participate in Commercial Interior Design’s Women in Design panel discussion this month.

Pallavi Dean, founder and creative director of boutique firm Roar, is among the high-profile names confirmed to speak at the talk on Monday, 17 June.

She will be joined by Kristina Zanic, CEO of Kristina Zanic Consultants, an outfit formed in 2012 after her long tenure as partner at Design Worldwide Partnership.

The award-winning Jennie Binchy, director of Binchy and Binchy Architecture, is also due to share her insights on gender balance in the Middle East.

Mustafa Khamash, founder and managing director of Kart Group, which recently unveiled a game-changing scholarship for young creatives, also joins the panel discussion to share his experiences.

Design consultant and author, Esra Lemmens, of Esra Lemmens Agency, rounds up the five-strong panel.

Commercial Interior Design’s Women in Design evening panel discussion will be held on Monday, 17 June, at the Dubai Design District (d3) showroom of architectural surfaces supplier Cosentino.

“We’re pleased to host Commercial Interior Design’s Women in Design panel discussion at Cosentino City Dubai – our showroom, knowledge centre, and collaborative space in d3,” said Miriam Llano, marketing manager at Cosentino Middle East.

“The theme is pertinent and the line-up is both fantastic and inclusive. We look forward to welcoming the design community to this open event and spark some interesting dialogue.”
