Ana D’Castro

Ana D’Castro, architect and visual artist, founder and director of BIA Design studio, has been working on several projects worldwide such as Miami Art Museum and Sao Paulo Cultural Complex, both designed by the award-winning Swiss firm Herzog & De Meuron, where she started her career.

BIA Design is a multidisciplinary practice with projects ranging from large scale buildings to interior design fit-outs, urban design schemes, furniture and product design, art installations and kinetic systems. D’Castro, born in 1984, is the leading force behind the studio and the creative brain behind each project, including two mixed-use towers in Business Bay, Culture Village Hotel, and two residential buildings in Jumeirah Village Circle and Jumeirah Village Triangle in Dubai. Saudi Design Week has commissioned her to create a massive art installation, named Black Diamond.
