Dubai’s newest materials supplier is on a mission to make luxury more achievable

Real estate developer Yayine Melaku built the business after struggling to find materials for her own development projects

Real estate developer Yayine Melaku has launched a new luxury building materials company in Dubai with hopes of providing developers and interior designers easy access to a superior standard of products.

Located in a 500 sqm showroom and warehouse space in Al Quoz, LIU Luxxe offers everything necessary to complete commercial or residential new builds and minor renovations. The extensive range of building materials includes kitchens, wardrobes and sanitaryware, parquet flooring, specialty tiles, doors, and more.

Melaku founded the business after extensive travel around the world looking for essential luxury materials for her projects as a real estate developer in the United States.

“In the US, I invested a lot of time finding materials that would set my developments apart, and result in better returns. Then, when I expanded my business to Dubai, I struggled to source the same standard of products,” she explains.

“I launched LIU Luxxe to benefit my own projects, and to provide others with the fundamental components they need for high-end properties.”

“The UAE is currently top of the list for global relocations. As more expats make the city their home, we are bridging the gap between expectation and reality, satisfying the demand for locally available, exclusive items. Now, clients never have to settle for less or replace often,” she says.

According to the Government of Dubai Media Office, Dubai witnessed the completion of nine real estate projects worth AED4.06 billion in the first half 2023. Data issued by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) also shows that in July, 392 real estate projects were currently being developed across the emirate.
