The office features bold tones in black, white and grey accentuated by an emphasis on reflective light and high-gloss surfaces like marble and corian.
"We're super happy about this win and it is pretty unexpected but it was a result of a really strong collaboration.We had a great integrated team between the client Saudi Aramco and Perkins+Will as part of the DAR Group and that is what has led to this success," said the Perkins+Will team.
The judges praised the project for its strong use of lighting and integration of technology.
Highly commended in this category is Edelman by Roar, which was praised for creating an office space with a residential aesthetic.
The other shortlisted projects included Revonic by Swiss Bureau Interior Design, Cundall by Say Studio, BRS Ventures Investment by Design Infinity, DIFC Government Services Office (GSO) by Opaal Interiors, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Design Hub by Schwitzke & Partner and Zero 6 Office by SOSA.
