Thai restaurant Pai Thai has temporarily closed so “extensive enhancements” led by Wilson Associates can get under way.
Located along the waterways of Madinat Jumeirah in the Al Qasr hotel, Pai Thai will be closed from 18 August to 30 September, so a complete renovation can be completed.
Commercial Interior Design has already confirmed that Wilson Associates’ Maria Anna Economides – one of the seven shortlisted Young Interior Designers of the Year at the CID Awards 2019 – is working on the restaurant.
“Following thorough planning, we are very excited that Pai Thai is embarking on such a major transformation,” said Spencer Ayers, managing director of Sarood Hospitality in a press statement.
“While Pai Thai’s award-winning signatures will remain untouched, the new look of our award-winning and much-loved concept will significantly enhance the overall consumer and dining experience. The brand-new Pai Thai will be worth the wait.”
The redesigned restaurant is due to open its doors again on 1 October, 2019.
