French interior architecture firm, Kirei Studio, founded by Nathalie Ryan in 2010, has designed Acqua di Parma’s first boutique in the Middle East. Located on the second floor of the Fashion Avenue, within the Perfumery & Co district in the Dubai Mall, the 50m2 Acqua di Parma boutique is characterised by the brand's symbolic colour. Natural and precious materials, complemented by the Parma bright yellow, hark back to its vibrant Italian roots.
The design emphasises the brightness that is the leitmotif of the store and the alternation of wooden grooves with textile coverings reference the sun’s artistic rays. The interior features yellow leather armchairs and oak floors that have been paired with timber elements and a central ringed chandelier. The boutique also has a barber corner – Barbiere – with a custom-made mosaic floor by Sicis, which offers a personal experience to its clientele.
Some of the other notable projects by Kirei Studio include the development and realisation of the Acqua di Parma boutiques for LVMH; the design of the Halston stores in the US; private residences in Paris, Montréal and Aspen; and the renovation and redesign of certain aspects of the Normandy and Royal Barrière Hotels in Deauville.
