Located at the foot of Ain Dubai, the world’s largest Ferris wheel, the all-new dining destination has been designed by Julian Peter Floyd, founder of Dubai-based F&B design studio Yamjam.
The first renders released to Commercial Interior Design depict urban chic styling and finishes melded with a soft, natural palette of botanicals.
Floyd said there was a deliberate intent to create an environment capable of “delivering multiple customer experiences”, making The London Project an ideal venue to revisit, during the day and at night. The dining bar on the ground floor is inspired by the form of a tree, creating a vibrant communal area under a leafy canopy. The Gin Garden is “a wild, enchanted English country garden”, inspired by nature, fairy tales and rural reclamation.
The menu is themed around interpretations of today’s London food scene, with a selection of signature dishes designed for sharing and inspired by the British capital’s multicultural milieu. The theatre kitchen and food preparation stations will be open and visible to all guests.
The London Project will open with the rest of Bluewater Island and Ain Dubai. Developed by Meraas, the US$2.17bn (AED8bn) Bluewaters Island project is a family-oriented island destination offering a premium waterfront lifestyle. A man-made island, it is located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence. It features a selection of premium apartments, penthouses, and townhouses, as well as nearly 200 retail and dining concepts.
